Seeds of a variety of Apulian origins. It resembles a melon but has the characteristics of a cucumber and are cultivated mainly in the south of Bari. Of this variety are consumed unripe fruits (peponids), even if very small, raw, without seasoning or sprinkled with salt, in salad or to accompany first courses. It has a green skin and the flesh inside lighter, almost white.
